The Enforcement Decree of the Higher Education Act of the Ministry of Education was revised on May 8, 2017, allowing the establishment of a convergence major that does not have a quota for freshmen. In preparation for the era of the 4th industrial revolution, various convergence majors within the Dept. of Convergence are opened and operated as part of the university's own specialized strategy. Convergence majors are open to all enrolled students and can be completed as major, double major, or minor.

The Next Generation Media Production Major aims to develop leading education in line with changes in the media environment and cultivation of creative and integrated practical skills.

In the Bio-Health Care System major, we are striving to cultivate the world's best biomaterials industry experts through convergence education between academics and technologies in order to contribute to the development of the biomaterials industry, which is a knowledge-intensive high-tech industry and human science and technology culture.

Blockchain has inherent values such as sharing, transparency, and reliability of intelligent information technology. Blockchain technology is a technology that can secure the reliability of decentralized P2P transactions by fundamentally blocking forgery and alteration of transactions, and is a core foundation technology of the fintech industry including cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin. The Blockchain Fintech major aims to cultivate professional manpower with understanding and application ability in the industry in order to satisfy the needs of the industrial field.
